Chakra Earthsong founded KeVita in 2009 after experimenting how to ferment non-dairy kefir for the first time. Chakra has always had a strong desire to discover and create new, innovative approaches to wellness. In fact, the name KeVita is rooted in Kefir and Vitality.
Chakra began culturing water kefir in her Ojai, CA kitchen as part of her research in home fermentation. Inspired by the delicious, lightly refreshing taste and the positive effects of fermenting water kefir culture, Chakra wanted to share this experience with the world. A couple of months later, her best and most delicious ferment, KeVita Lemon Ginger Sparkling Probiotic Refresher, was born.
Today, KeVita’s lineup has expanded to include three delicious offerings: Master Brew Kombuchas, which are bold and smooth in flavor yet approachable, Sparkling Probiotic Refreshers, and Prebiotic Lemonades. There’s truly something for everyone.
